A Green Belt in Utan Jati Occupied by PKL

Due to low monitoring, a green belt on Jl Utan Jati Raya, Kalideres Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district, West Jakarta are occupied by street vendor (PKL) with 30 permanent shanties.

Initially, there were only some shanties and had been controlled by our officer. But they return again almost one year

The impact is trees around the location as protected tree had to be cut down.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, shanties on the green belt is precisely located on right side of Utan Jati towards Jl Peta Barat. Most vendors sell fish, plant, stone garden, etc.

Subur (49), a citizen of RW 02, Kalideres Urban Village disclosed, the shanties have been existed more than one year.

"Initially, there were only some shanties and had been controlled by our officer. But they return again almost one year," he expressed, Wednesday (8/10).

Kalideres Sub-district Head, Supriyadi his side has known the matter and is still coordinating with KUMKMP and Park and Cemetery Sub-dept. Moreover, a temporary location on Jl Satu Maret, Pegadungan Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district is already full.

"We're still coordinating with related unit to discuss on new temporary location," he finished.
